Bridal Garments: How To Pick The Right Bridal Slip

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

You have the perfect dress for your wedding but you are still in need of a perfect bridal slip. If this is your circumstance, we are here to help you choose the perfect bridal slip by providing you a few how-tos. Get started.

A Bridal slip is used to add fullness to your wedding dress. There are two types of wedding slips – petticoat and hoop skirt. The petticoat slip has layers of tulle fabric to give your wedding dress complete fullness. A hoop skirt slip uses a plastic or metal hoop to add shape. The hoop skirt slip is very lightweight and perfect for warm wedding settings.

If you are not sure which is best for you, do the following steps when picking a slip:

Measure the Dress

You should measure the hem circumference of your dress to decide whether you need a petticoat or hoop skirt. Measuring tape should be used to measure from side-seam to side-seam. You should double that measurement. This will give you an estimate of how much additional fullness you will need.

Know The Right Fullness

Once you know the hem circumference of your dress, you can review the petticoat fullness guide. Never select a slip fuller than your wedding dress (exception: If you have a heavy silk or satin wedding dress).

A little fullness petticoat has a circumference can range from 94” to 125” inches. It is appropriate for A-line dresses. You can even use it for bridesmaid dresses.

A medium fullness petticoat circumference can range from 128” to 157” inches. It often starts below the hips and down to the hemline. It can be used for A-line and Dropped waist style dresses.

Mega Full

A mega full slip circumference ranges from 191” to 220” inches.  This slip has the greatest amount of fullness you can have for a slip. It should be worn for wedding dresses that flare out at the waistline. It is also a perfect slip for Quinceanera dresses.

How To Make Your Small Breasts Look Bigger

Thursday, January 19th, 2012

Are you a woman with small breasts looking for ways to make your breasts look bigger? If yes, we are here to help by providing tips on how to make your breasts look larger and be firmer. Read below to get started.

Good Posture Enhances Breast Size

If you hold your head up and roll back your shoulders, your chest will automatically push forward and your spine will be straight. Your breasts will not only look bigger but they will be perkier. You will also look slimmer and taller.

Wear New Undergarments

You should have a professional bra fitter find your accurate undergarment size. If you wear well fitting bras, your breasts will look better than an inaccurate bra size. If your bra is too small, your breasts will look smaller and flatter because they will be squashed. A bra too big will not give your breasts appropriate support. Your breasts will not look perky. You do not want a bra that has your straps falling down or a bra that has straps digging in your skin.

Buy Bras that Enhance Your Breasts

There are three kinds of bras that are made to enhance breasts size. The three bras are push up bras, padded bras, and gel/air/ water padded bras.

Push up bras are made to push your breasts up and move your breasts closer together. This will make you have cleavage.

Padded bras use foam padding to give you a fuller look but they do not lift your breast or create extra cleavage.

Gel, Air, or Water padded bras are like padded bras but look more natural in enhancement.
